How you could own one

Success to us is when we find a happy home for one of our rescued dogs. There is nothing better than to see a greyhound that had arrived in a forlorn state become a healthy and settled animal and find a loving home for the remainder of its life.

We have to be as careful as possible to ensure that a new owner will truly take care of a dog. We need to make sure that it will be provided with a happy home. We like to establish that a house is suitable for the greyhound, that a garden is well fenced and we need to be assured that the new owner is prepared to walk their dog to ensure it will have sufficient exercise.

You would be very welcome to come and choose a greyhound which would be suitable for you. They come in all shapes, colours and sizes - the true greyhounds and also lurchers (greyhound crossed dogs). In general they all have a characteristic loving nature.

Get in touch with the kennels and talk it over - if you visit the kennels it will be surprising if you do not fall in love with one of the many dogs you see.
